Chapel Barn is a complex of buildings featuring at its centre the barn itself. At one end of this large room stands a remarkable stained glass window by Thomas Denny. The coloured light that pours in illuminates a large table, made specially for the room from local oaks. Above this hangs an eighteen-metre long bronze chandelier made by Cox London. It is composed of many intertwining branches and leaves to mimic a dense and winding olive tree. A visitor to the barn would then perhaps tumble down the brick and stone spiral staircase into the party room. Here hang further bronze chandeliers that continue the sylvan theme. The gold mosaic of the pool reflects golden light through the water and bathes the room in a warm glow. The bar next to it mirrors this golden theme, itself entirely rendered in shimmering gold tiling.
